Quality Management Clerk
Description: The basic function of the
Quality Management Clerk is to assist the Document Control
Manager and Quality Management Systems Manager.
Responsibilities would include controlling documents, auditing
and administration. Additionally, implementation of the
quality management system and management of all files
associated with the quality management system would be
required.
Requirements: High school degree required.
College Degree preferred with concentration in Business
Administration or Configuration Management. A minimum of one
year experience working with configuration management and
document control. Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 standards.
Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: Must be
proficient in Microsoft office applications such as Word,
Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat. Strong writing
skills. Must be detail oriented. Experience reading design
schematics extremely helpful. Must have organizational skills
and the ability to prioritize a large workload under pressure.
Understanding of process flow and manufacturing processes
recommended. AS9100 guidelines and concepts also recommended.
Purchasing Agent
Description:The basic function of the
Purchasing Agent is to organize and manage all aspects of the
purchasing functions to ensure material is available as required
to meet customer due dates and to maximum profits for Custom
Interface, Inc.
Requirements: Applicant must have a minimum
of 5 years experience in purchasing with an organization that
supported ISO or similar quality system, with experience in high
tech preferred. Applicant should also have experience with
material requirements planning software programs.
Knowledge of IS0900102 AS9100 standard recommended.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: The use of
analytical and observational skills which demonstrate ability to
prioritize effectively, track unresolved issues and negotiate
with suppliers for long term results. Must also have the ability
to remain calm in stressful situations, and effectively use time
management skills. The position also requires proficiency with
Windows NT Office Suite as well as material requirements planning
software. Good general math, reading and the ability to effectively
communicate both written and verbal.
Quoting
Description: The basic functions of
Quoting is to develop quotations for new business
opportunities and update existing assembly costs when
appropriate by identifying labor processes and material
requirements, entering that data into an MRP system,
identifying vendors, materials costs and tooling.
Requirements: High school diploma
required. Must have at least 2 years in a manufacturing
environment working on assemblies that required the ability to
read and understand drawings and schematics. Solid
understanding of the cable and wire harness environment most
helpful. Must have computer skills.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: Basic math
skills needed. Computer skills a must. Must be able to read
and understand work instructions. Good communication skills
and some phone skills with customers helpful. Being able to
work under pressure, prioritize work and analyze issues that
have material effect on quote response time, material purchase
requirements and lead time, are critical.
