Systems Administrator

Description: The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff.

Requirements: • Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science. • Systems Administration/System Engineer certification Microsoft. • Two to four years system administration experience. • Experience with Symantec Backup Exec and Symantec Enterprise Protection. • Experience with Windows SBS Server 2008. • Microsoft SQL 2005 administration. • Microsoft Exchange 2007. • Active Directory administration. • Basic understanding of scripting and batch writing. • Experience with Microsoft Access. • QuickBooks setup and troubleshooting.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: • Install new / rebuild existing infrastructure and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories. • Small Business Server administration and maintenance. • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures. • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.


Quoting

Description: The basic functions of Quoting is to develop quotations for new business opportunities and update existing assembly costs when appropriate by identifying labor processes and material requirements, entering that data into an MRP system, identifying vendors, materials costs and tooling.

Requirements: High school diploma required. Must have at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment working on assemblies that required the ability to read and understand drawings and schematics. Solid understanding of the cable and wire harness environment most helpful. Must have computer skills.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: Basic math skills needed. Computer skills a must. Must be able to read and understand work instructions. Good communication skills and some phone skills with customers helpful. Being able to work under pressure, prioritize work and analyze issues that have material effect on quote response time, material purchase requirements and lead time, are critical.
