Quoting Agent
Job Description:
- Read schematic drawings and:
- Correctly identify parts list for bill of material
- Identify labor processes
- Produce quotes
- Work with sales staff to optimize customer solutions
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Task focused with attention to detail
- Ability to remain focused for extended periods
- Ability to multitask and/or task switch with shifting priorities
- Use of analytical and observational skills to coordinate diverse demands, remain calm in stressful situations and effectively use time management skills
- Familiarity with production terms and processes
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to read and write in the English language to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Exhibit basic math skills to convert fractions to decimals and work in both metric and imperial units
- Rises to the occasion to meet customer expectations
Preferred Experience/Knowledge
- 1-2 years cable assembly experience
- 1-2 years Project Management experience
- Working knowledge of MRP systems
- Ability to read cable drawings
- Knowledge of wire, terminals, tooling, etc.
Full time, Monday thru Friday, wage depending on experience.
